Crescent College of Nursing has an intake capacity of 50 students per year. 50% (25 seats) are reserved under Management Quota and the remaining 50% are filled by Kerala State Government. Admissions to the Government quota is through LBS and those who wish to take admission in Management Quota must directly apply to the Office in person.

    Currently the Admissions for the Academic year 2011-2012 stands closed as on 31st of October 2011. Every year new batch admissions will be done on the months of May- July. Candidates who wish to take admissions are requested to check this site for updates on admission dates and procedure during these months.

Applicants should have completed 17 years of Age as on the applying date.

    The candidate should have passed the +2 or equivalent examination recognized by any of the Universities of Kerala with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together.

    Candidates belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes in the State of Kerala with a total annual family income up to Rs. 2.5 Lakhs will have a relaxation of 5% marks. SC and ST students need to have only minimum pass marks in the qualifying examinations. Candidates claiming relaxation of marks should produce necessary certificates from concerned authorities while submitting application.

    Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination outside Kerala shall produce Certificate of Recognition and Equivalency of qualifying examination from any of the universities in Kerala.

The training covers 3.5 years of General nursing and midwifery theory and practice. The School of Nursing follows the syllabus laid down by the Indian Nursing Council. The course commences on month of October every year.

Application forms are available at the Office on payment of Rs. 150.00 by cash. For sending the form by post, rs 200.00 shall be sent by MO/ DD specifying “Cost of application form for GNM Course to the Office.

1. Candidates should be resident of the State of Kerala.
2. Candidates should have passed Plus Two/ Predegree or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects. (Average 45% in these Subjects)
3. Age of the Candidate should not be less than 17 years and not more than 27 years as on 1^st  January of the applying year. Upper age limit will be relaxed to 3 years in case of backward communities and five years in case of SC / ST candidates.
4. Application from should be filled up clearly by own handwriting. Attested copies of the following documents should be sent along with the application form.
     a) Front page and marklist of SSLC Book
     b) Marklist and other Necessary certificates of qalifying examination
     c) Conduct & Character certificate from Principal of School / College last studied.
     d) Caste / Religion Certificate in case applying for relaxation of marks / age.
